“There is a funny part in the movie where my character gets angry at the end of a book and he throws the book out the window. I think many of us already want to do this, especially when a character dies.” Bradley Cooper

I decided to re-read the red wedding, for research purposes and guess what song starts playing? That’s right, the rains of castamere, could you make this more painful?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and yes, this is how i feel right now, just…no.

“So many vows … they make you swear and swear. Defend the king. Obey the king. Keep his secrets. Do his bidding. Your life for his. But obey your father. Love your sister. Protect the innocent. Defend the weak. Respect the gods. Obey the laws. It’s too much. No matter what you do, you’re forsaking one vow or another.”
- Jaime Lannister; A Clash of Kings

1. Why I like them: Theon, has i said many, many times before has a huge identity crisis which basically revolves around the fact that he’s too Greyjoy to be a Stark and he’s too Stark to be a Greyjoy so where does that leave him? He’s no one, he’s nobody and nobody really cares for him. He doesn’t have an identity.
Theon is also like the teenagers who are always trying to fit into groups, not caring what they have to do in the process. He wants to belong so badly that he’ll piratically do anything. He also doesn’t see how doomed he his (his idea to take winterfell etc.). There is no version of this where he comes out on top. He doesn’t have sufficient men and even if his father/sister etc came to help him, they would loose either way. If Robb was able to march north and retake winterfell they would loose, sooner or later they all would loose and they all would die.
That said i also pity Theon because he is a child/teenager. He is irresponsible, arrogant and stupid. But he is also strong. As horrible as his passage through winterfell was, it showed that, he could be a good leader, could be if he had remained with the Starks and followed their morals because Theon doesn’t belong in the Iron Islands anymore nor does he identify himself with their costumes and traditions. But Theon is not a good leader and that leads to his doom.
2.Why I don’t: He is stupid, reckless, impulsive and arrogant but all of this is just part of who he is and i cannot like him less for that.
3. Favorite episode/scene: The King in the north scene, the scene where Robb calls the banners and the scene where Balon slaps him.
4.Favorite line: ”Am I your brother, now and always?” and “There are ghosts in Winterfell and i am one of them.”
5. Favorite outfit: The winterfell ones.
6. OTP: …None?
7. Non-romantic OTP (brotp): Robb/Theon
8. Headcanon: …None? Only that Theon hadn’t gone to the Iron Islands and all was well in the north…don’t know if that counts
9. Unpopular opinion: That i like him?
10. A wish for them: I kind of wish he would die because it’s obvious that he’s suffering so at least he could have a little peace (or not…) and i wish for him to…just be ok.
11. An oh-god-please-don’t-ever-happen for them: Be with Ramsay again
12. 5 words to best describe them: stupid, reckless, impulsive, arrogant, confused.
13. My nickname for them: …Theon?

1. Why I like them: Arianne is strong, she is independent and she fights for what she believes and for what she thinks is her right. I also love her because she’s a Martell and i love all the Martells (all we know at least). I also think she is smart and cunning but she is also kind and knows how to love.
2.Why I don’t: I think she can be a little bit impulsive and she still has a lot to learn (not that this is a downside) especially from her father.
3. Favorite episode/scene: When Doran tell her the truth of what he’s been planning and when he tells the Sand Snakes and also the failed attempt to make Myrcella queen.
4.Favorite line: ”I want Sunspear, and my fathers seat. I want Dorne. I want Justice.” and “Someone told, someone always tells” I know this is not her line but i love it so…
5. Favorite outfit: All of them. All her outfits are gorgeous and shiny and brilliant in my mind.
6. OTP: Arianne/Arys i guess.
7. Non-romantic OTP (brotp): Arianne/The Sand Snakes
8. Headcanon: The Martells are awesome…that’s all.
9. Unpopular opinion: Hum…i don’t have one…i think…
10. A wish for them: Anything good for her is good (as long as she doesn’t die and gets Dorne and a happy ending.)
11. An oh-god-please-don’t-ever-happen for them: Don’t die please…or rather die please! (maybe reversed physiology will work on GRRM?)
12. 5 words to best describe them: Strong, fearless, smart, beautiful, hot-headed.
13. My nickname for them: i just call her Arianne

SPOILERS! IF YOU HAVEN’T READ THE BOOKS DON’T READ THIS POST!
1. Why I like them: Robb is kind, honorable and smart and he knows how to play the game, he hasn’t mastered it and sometimes his honor and his sense to do whats right get in the way but if he had a little more time i think he would have learned and he would be a good king. Not a perfect king and perhaps not the kings westeros needs/wants but he would be a good king in his own way (and a good lord too).
2.Why I don’t: I love Robb. I think made some stupid mistakes (partly because he hasn’t mastered the game and his honor and partly for being so young.) but that doesn’t make me like him less.
3. Favorite episode/scene: Hum…I love the scene where he is crowned King in the north, the scene where he gets the letter from Sansa and the “We will kill them all scene”. From the books i also love the scene with Edmure where he’s all happy for having forced back (or something) Tywin’s forces but it was Robbs plan all along to lure them. I don’t know why i just love that scene.
4.Favorite line: “I will kill them all, everyone of them, i will kill them all.” and “…Gods be good, why would any man ever want to be king? When everyone was shouting King in the North, King in the North, I told myself … sworeto myself … That I would be a good king, as honorable as Father, strong, just, loyal to my friends and brave when I faced my enemies … now I can’t even tell one from the other. How did it all get so confused?” A Storm of Swords; Catelyn III, p273
5. Favorite outfit: The one he wears when he says goodbye to Jon and the one when Bran is attacked by wildlings (i think they might be the same)
6. OTP: does Robb/me count? If not then Robb/Lucrezia (from The Borgias) and Robb/Morgana (from Merlin). I know it’s crossover but i love them. I know Robb/Jeyne is canon but, although i like them, they aren’t my OTP.I like Robb/Dany and Robb/Arianne too but as for the rest of westeros…no, Robb i don’t see Robb with anyone.
7. Non-romantic OTP (brotp): Robb/Theon; Robb/Jon
8. Headcanon: Robb comes back to life, wrags into Grey wind and kills all the Lannisters, Boltons and Freys and lives happily ever after…
9. Unpopular opinion: Hum…i don’t have one…i think…oh i know one, kind of, ok my unpopular opinion is that i don’t know how i feel about the theory of Jeyne having escaped and/or carrying Robb’s child. I don’t know but that doesn’t ring my bells you know…IDK
10. A wish for them: That he would still be alive *weeps tears of blood*
11. An oh-god-please-don’t-ever-happen for them: What? the worst has already happened
12. 5 words to best describe them: Honorable, loyal, intelligent, young, lovable.
13. My nickname for them: does King in the North count?
